To provide you with accurate information to aid in your job search, we have prepared the following guide for you.
Step 1: Application
If you are interested in placing your resume with Premier for consideration for open placement, then please download the Nanny application under Forms above or contact our office to obtain a copy. Please take pride in completing the application - this information will be seen by potential employers and is your one chance to impress them enough to request a personal meeting. Once complete, please fax applications for Dallas to 214.975.2922 or email it to dallas@premierfamilystaffers.com and please fax applications for Houston to 281.727.0429 or email it to houston@premierfamilystaffers.com or mail it to our corporate office at 6009 West Parker Road, Suite 149-141, Plano, Texas 75093.
You will also need to complete and return the Disclosure of Information form under Forms above. This form authorizes our agency to conduct a complete background check including, but not limited to a criminal check, credit check, and motor vehicle records check. You may also be asked to complete a drug screen and TB skin test. Your highest level of education, references and work history will also be verified. Please be certain that all contact information is current so that your background check is completed in a timely manner. All of this information is maintained as confidential information by our agency and is only provided to potential employers expressing an interest in hiring you.
Step 2: Agency Interview
Following your completion of the Nanny application, we will contact you to conduct a face-to-face interview. During this time, we will assess your knowledge and skills related to performing as a Nanny. We will also review your application, resume and discuss potential positions.
Step 3: Family Interview
After reviewing your profile, families may request a face-to-face interview. We will coordinate this with both you and the family and provide you with necessary information for the interview.
Step 4: Trial Period
Many families ask that you complete a trial period with their family. During this time, you will be paid an agreed upon hourly rate by the family. This is the time to get to know the family, understand the job responsibilities and show off your skills!
Step 5: Offer
Once the family is certain that you are the best caregiver for them, an offer will be extended. This may be through our agency or directly from the family. It is during this time that salary and benefits are negotiated. We are happy to coordinate this process.
Step 6: Congratulations!
You found a great family to become a part of and will soon begin your employment. You will work for and be directly paid by the family. However, we are always here if you need our help or guidance!
